The new Caleido project stars at Cersaie 2022
Caleido is the new Atlas Plan project presented at Cersaie 2022, the International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings, where leading companies from all over the world present trends in the field surface design and finishes for the architectural design.
Caleido stems from Atlas Plan's desire to break out of the box and propose five trendy colours with a well-defined personality. Research, creativity, excellence: these are the elements leading the birth of this project.
The concept
The same name Caleido has an immediate reference to the word "kaleidoscope" and is suggestive of geometrical shapes and combinations of light, patterns, decorations and colours.
The stories of Caleido are intertwined in the film "Contemporary Mother Nature" narrating the encounter between man and nature. This encounter will lead to the creation of five new extraordinary products, capable of creating unique colour plays. Within the video, the slabs become the absolute protagonists, around which the narrative revolves. They have attractive forces capable of drawing in natural elements that flood the rooms, reuniting and meeting again. The static nature of the slab as a central element is thus contrasted with the dynamism of the elements that revolve around it.
Each colour is interpreted by human figures, contemporary transpositions of Mother Nature, with a strong and decisive character, interacting with the unusual play of light created by the surfaces and performing everyday actions.
The range
Among the absolute novelties of the project are marble-effect stoneware slabs in shades of green: Exotic Wave and Exotic Green.
Drawing inspiration from Brazilian quartzite, whose surfaces are etched by bright green veins, Exotic Wave is the ideal slab for lively and dynamic architectural projects, recalling seductive tropical atmospheres.
We find the same charm of the tropical forest in the Exotic Green porcelain stoneware slab where the vibrant green of the surface is enhanced by light shades that reinforce its decorative potential.
For design projects with great personality and strong visual impact, Atlas Plan offers the large-size marble-effect slab Desert Soul: a scenic overlapping of shapes and colour spots makes this tile the ideal solution to give hospitality, residential and business spaces a touch of refined eccentricity.
For lovers of essentiality, Caleido presents Crystal White which, with its brilliant white background, reproduces the delicate and precious surface of crystal.
A slab with a sophisticated look that is at the same time adaptable to all environments: from kitchen and bathroom walls to bar counters and meeting tables.
On the opposite side is Black Atlantis, a large marble-effect porcelain stoneware slab with a black background crossed by white and gold veins. The texture of stoneware gives this surface an extremely natural effect and an extraordinary intensity, guaranteeing a majestic and refined result.

Caleido becomes alive and reaches its fullest expression in elegant, contemporary design contexts. The chromatic variety and dynamism of this collection allows for the design of any type of furniture: kitchen, bathroom, hospitality and business environments.
