MAGMA installation by Atlas Concorde at Fuorisalone 2025 for Interni CRE-ACTION

Atlas Concorde alongside One Works for the MAGMA installation realised within the framework of INTERNI

On the occasion of FuoriSalone 2025, Atlas Concorde announces its presence at the Interni Cre-Action exhibition-event at the University of Milan.

The installation 'MAGMA - At the Origins of Creativity', designed by One Works in collaboration with Whitby Wood, will be set up in the Cortile d'Onore of the Statale.

Through this important project, Atlas Concorde confirms its central role in the contemporary design scene, contributing with its surfaces to a work of great visual and conceptual impact.

An immersive experience between design, matter and nature

"MAGMA" is an immersive installation that interprets the creative and transformative power of nature, inspired by the model of plate tectonics.
The work invites the visitor to reflect on change as an essential element of contemporary living, bringing nature, architecture and design imagination into dialogue.

The path of the installation, marked by volumes and fissures, is defined by large ceramic surfaces by Atlas Concorde, used to create a geometric and material landscape that immerses the visitor in an evocative and engaging environment.

Immersive work of nature, design and ceramics by Atlas Concorde and One Works

Atlas Concorde brings ceramic material to the heart of the project

Boost Expression Carbon, the collection designed by Elisa Ossino for Atlas Concorde, was chosen for the installation floor.
A contemporary narration of handmade cement, characterised by a bold colour and a surface capable of transmitting material depth, visual strength and naturalness.

The choice of the colour Carbon directly recalls the theme of the installation, offering a modern interpretation of magma, linked to the concepts of energy and transformation.
Like the MAGMA installation, the Boost Expression collection is the result of material research inspired by the earth and its processes, thus creating a coherent and profound link between architectural design and surfaces.

With Boost Expression Carbon, Atlas Concorde contributes to define the material and contemporary character of the installation, offering a surface capable of dialoguing with the design concept and the idea of transformation of nature that the work interprets.

Atlas Concorde surfaces do not just cover, but become an integral part of MAGMA's architectural identity, reinforcing the dialogue between design and nature that lies at the heart of the entire installation.

A choral and shared project

"MAGMA" is the result of a joint effort that saw Atlas Concorde join One Works as project partner and Mapei for the technical solutions.

The installation will be on display from 7 to 17 April 2025 at the Cortile d'Onore of the University of Milan, the symbolic location of the FuoriSalone and the historic venue of the INTERNI CRE-ACTION exhibition-event.
